When is the symposium

Wednesday, May 14, 2025  8:00am - 6:30pm  - Registration is open at 7:30am

Where will the conference be held?

The conference will be held in the Starvine Ballroom at the Emory Conference Center Hotel on Emory’s campus in Atlanta (link to map). 

Where is parking?

Registered symposium attendees should park in the South Parking Deck for validated parking. After turning off of Clifton Road, continue straight and at the stop sign, continue straight into the South Parking Deck. (link to parking map).  

How do I get from the parking deck to the symposium?
Exit the parking deck and walk to the left down the hill towards the hotel lobby- the South Wing will be on your right. Follow the path and enter the South Wing reception area at the bottom of the hill.  (Do not take the path towards the Silverbell Pavillion)

Do you have a special rate for rooms at the hotel?

Yes, use this link to reserve a room at our conference rate ($194/night + tax & fees). This rate is good until 4/22/25.

How do I get from the airport to the Emory Conference Center Hotel?

Atlanta is served by Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) and ground transportation can be managed by rental car, Uber, Lyft, taxi service, shuttle, or public transportation (click for more information about MARTA).  Depending on traffic/time of day, car services from the Airport to Emory Conference Center Hotel can take anywhere from ½ hour to an hour or more.

Do I need to RSVP for the symposium?

YES.  Everyone planning to attend should have registered by the deadline. If you are unsure if your registration was accepted, please email leslie.s.grant@emory.edu
